asc = ascent = to go up or climb.
dsc = descent = to move/fall downwards.
Results explained:
With a series of altitudes e.g. 10, 14, 17, 15, 11, 19
The ascent is 10...17 + 11...19 = 15
The descent is 17...11 = 6
The descent is 17...11 = 6
The absolute elevation difference from the lowest point to the highest point would be 10...19 = 9
Pace = Time, that takes to move one kilometer or mile with the current speed. (min/km or min/mi.)
Speed = Distance you can travel in one hour (km/h or mi/h, mph)
